This is the first year the national Marine Manufacturers Association awarded dealers for excellence in sales and customer service. Data was collected through the Marine Industry CSI<\/a> program was used for the program, which recognized 785 boat dealers for sales satisfaction and 691 for customer service.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoat dealers play a vital role in fostering customer satisfaction and upholding a positive ownership experience through their approach to sales and service and it\u2019s critical that we not only measure and understand their role, but recognize those dealers who excel at serving boaters,\u201d said Robert Newsome, vice president of engineering standards and membership for NMMA. \u201cWe thank the inaugural class of marine dealers for their commitment to their customers and for creating an incomparable boat ownership experience, ensuring that today\u2019s boater remains the boater of tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n
